Stranded in Medford: Day 6

Ten hours in the Mercedes courtesy car yesterday made me miss the RV more than ever… just one more day till it’s fixed!

RV at Mt. ShastaThere’s nothing like the luxury of a traveling bathroom on long road trips.  Yesterday’s road trip also left us both longing for some serious movement.  James and I split up today so he could do a killer 75 mile bike ride (his favorite workout) and I could do a nice long slow jog (my fave) through Methford, whoops I meant Medford.  I also spent a couple of hours exercising in the Homewood’s gym after my run, killing time waiting for James to get back.  That’s three hours of working out for me today added to my exercise piggybank.  Pat me on the back.

I’m also feeling pretty excited that we get the RV back tomorrow.  Staying in one place like this for so long is just not how we like to travel.  James and I were just talking about this.  It dawned on us that in the past three years we’ve been serious RVers, we’ve never stayed in one place longer than three days.  We like to roll into a town, stay the night, explore, exercise, and then move on.  We get bored if we aren’t on the move, out exploring the world.  Perhaps that’s why our small Class B RV is so perfect for us.  We can pull in and out of campgrounds with ease.  No towing, no extra cars, no slides to contend with.

Well, perfect for us when it’s running…
