But after spending over a decade in the RV industry working with manufacturers and suppliers, we began to realize that sometimes the perfect product for RVers isn’t sold, or maybe just doesn’t exist at all.  Eventually, we decided we should make these things available ourselves.  So below, you’ll find the results of that.  Our products!

The Americanizer®

This was our first product, and it’s patented!  The Americanizer® is an adapter that allows you to empty a cassette toilet into any standard RV dump with no sights, no smells, and no messes.  So if you ever run across one of those RV dumps with a heavy lid on it, and you wonder how you’re going to get your cassette dumped into it… now you know.  The Americanizer® has a few unique features that make it more than just something you might cobble together in your garage:

  • The design ensures the waste never actually flows through the adapter.  It stays relatively clean.
  • The large nubby surface makes it easy to use. Even a left-hander wearing oven mitts can install and remove it.
  • You don’t have to grab the “dirty” end of the Americanizer® while installing or removing.
  • The Americanizer works with Thetford brand cassettes.  Users on Amazon though, have found it fits a few other brands as well.

This was a COVID project for me.  I bought a 3D printer, learned how to design products in CAD, and figured out global logistics during the pandemic.

We actually drink the water from our RV’s plumbing system.  I even do a seminar on the topic (video coming soon!).

Part of that seminar focuses on filters, and the three things you want from your water:  You want it to be: a) clean. b) tasty, and c) safe.  Most premium RV water filters use three cartridges to accomplish those three things.  Ours does all three in one.
