Grilled Peaches with Yogurt, Walnuts, and Honey


  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (olive or canola oil works too)
  • 2 large peaches (or 3 small)
  • 1 cup of plain yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons chopped raw walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
  • Fresh mint (optional)


  1. Preheat your grill on medium high heat.
  2. Cut the peaches in half and remove pits.
  3. Brush all parts of the peaches with melted butter.
  4. Grill with the cut part down for 2-4 minutes, until grill marks look dark brown and distinct.
  5. Turn 90 degrees, and grill another 2-4 minutes for grill marks.
  6. Flip peaches over onto skin side and turn heat to low.
  7. Let grill another couple minutes until peaches are soft to touch, then remove from heat.
  8. Mix together yogurt, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  9. Top grilled peaches with yogurt mixture. Sprinkle with walnuts and then drizzle honey over the top. Finish with optional mint garnish. Serve immediately.
